ferkin hard for a dickel is what would come out of my grandfather's mouth when he was worked up... I've been ferking hard for a dickel damnit! Most people work hard for a nickel but not him... he was ferkin! Of course, by the time he got to this point and was totally tongue tied we'd start laughing and he had no choice but to join. I really miss him and his -isms.
